Is the £1 refunded if I buy the book?

It's credited, which comes to the same thing. The book is £59, your £1 comes off, and £58 is due at checkout.

How long does my preview last?

You create a free account before you start, so your preview is saved to it and you can come back to it any time. We keep previews for 90 days and email before anything is removed.

A5 portrait (148 × 210mm), premium hardcover with matt laminate, 170gsm silk pages, 24 illustrated pages plus a dedication page. Printed and bound in the UK.

The clean digital proof is included with every book order. We don't currently sell a digital-only edition, though it's on the list.

What if the illustrations don't look like my pet?

Every order includes 1 revision round covering likeness and factual corrections. You review a digital proof, tell us what's wrong, and we correct it before anything is printed.

How many photos should I upload?

Four or five. A clear daylight face shot and a full-body side profile matter most; the rest add character.

Who approves the final version?

You do. Printing only starts after you approve the final proof from your account.

Can I change the words as well as the pictures?

Yes. Wording, names, dates and place names are all fair game in the revision round, and pages are editable during the preview.
