We build the opening of the book — the front cover and pages 1-2, watermarked and at screen resolution, illustrated from your own photos. It can take a little while, and you can safely close the page — we'll email you when it's ready. No card details needed — just a free account so we can save your preview.

Unlock the whole preview
£1 pays for the remaining pages to be painted over the following hours. We email when they're ready, so you can read the story end to end before deciding. It's credited in full against the book.

Check your digital proof
A clean, unwatermarked digital proof of the whole book — all 32 pages — arrives by email and in your account. This is the version that would be printed.

You approve, then we print
Nothing is printed until you sign off the final proof. If something's wrong — an ear shape, a wrong colour, a name spelled differently — email us before you approve and we won't print; we'll fix it and send a new proof. Printed by our print partner and shipped to you. Your book goes to the printer once you approve the proof. Allow up to 2 weeks from proof approval to delivery. For Christmas, approve your proof by 5 December.

Your pet is painted onto every page of our written story, from your photos. Automated checks help us catch inconsistencies in names, details, tone and image quality. Some books may also be selected for additional human review, particularly when something needs a closer look.
