You don't have to know everything
You are not expected to know their routines, their nicknames or the story behind every photo. Give us what you have and we'll prompt you for the rest — anything you leave blank simply doesn't appear.
- Use the details you already know. A name, roughly what they look like, and one habit everyone mentions is enough to start a book.
- Ask a family member for the rest. Whoever lives with the pet knows the habits you don't — sideways questions like “what's the daftest thing she's ever done?” get far more than “tell me about your dog”.
- Borrow photos from the family group chat. A clear daylight face shot and a full-body side profile do most of the work.
- Include a personal dedication. Printed on its own page at the front, in your words. Most people write two or three lines.
- Nothing prints until you approve the proof. If something needs fixing — likeness or a fact — email us before you approve and we won't print.
Occasions this works for

Christmas. It survives the day itself, which most Christmas presents don't. Order early enough to see the proof without rushing, and keep the parcel unopened until the morning.
