Getting your cat's likeness right
The cat book on sale is our written memorial story. Each page is painted as your cat from your photos, with their name in the story and your dedication inside.
- A clear face photo shows their eyes, ears and markings.
- A full-body photo shows their build and tail.
- Daylight helps us see their coat colour faithfully.
Photographing a cat who won't cooperate
You need fewer photos than you think — four good ones is plenty.
- Shoot at their eye level rather than from above.
- Use daylight from a window; flash flattens fur and shifts colour.
- Include one full-body shot so we get the shape and tail right.
- A sleeping photo is genuinely useful for coat detail.
