Before you approve the proof

Nothing is printed until you approve the final proof, so you can cancel the book at any point before approval for a full refund of the £48 paid at checkout.

The £1 preview unlock

The £1 unlock buys immediate access to your full watermarked preview, so it isn't refundable once the pages are opened. If you order a book it's credited in full against the £49 price. If the unlock fails to deliver the pages, we refund it without question.

After you approve the proof

Once approved, the book is manufactured to your specification and is excluded from the standard 14-day right to cancel for personalised goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Damaged, faulty or misprinted books

• We reprint and reship at no cost if the book arrives damaged, is misbound, or doesn't match the proof you approved.
• Send us a photo as soon as you notice and we'll put it right — there's nothing to return. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which we don't shorten.
• If a reprint isn't possible, we refund the full order value.

Likeness and content

Nothing is printed until you approve the final proof, so approval is the moment to raise a likeness or factual concern rather than after the fact. Email us before you approve and we won't print — we'll sort it out with you directly. If we genuinely can't get the likeness right and you haven't approved the proof, we refund in full.

Lost in transit

UK orders are tracked. If a parcel is confirmed lost by the carrier, you get the book you paid for — either a replacement at our cost or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Subscriptions

When the £8/month bedtime story subscription launches, it will be cancellable at any time from your account, with any planned 7-day trial ending without charge if you cancel before it finishes.

How to claim

Email hello@tailswekeep.co.uk with your order reference. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. We're not quoting a resolution time yet — print fulfilment has only just been set up, so we'd rather answer you with a real date than a target we invented.
